Inspirations – Tannat
Dry Red Wine
Characteristics:
Dark red, with a purple sheen. It combines the aromas of ripe red and black fruit with leather and spice notes. Well-structured, with rich tannins and exuberant flavour.
Vinification:
Harvested in early morning. Destemming and pre-fermentation maceration at temperatures below 12° C. Fermentation in open vats at temperatures up to 23° C. The cap was punched down twice to four times daily. The young wine was separated from the pomace after three weeks. Aged for 18 months in 300-litre French-oak barrels. Bottling was followed by further cellaring for a minimum of 12 months.
A genuine expression of the oenologists’ vision.
